Simplified Raw Water Cooling: By using direct seawater cooling rather than a secondary coolant loop, the engine eliminates the need for a separate heat exchanger. This lowers initial manufacturing complexity and leaves fewer components that require servicing, though it does mandate regular zinc anode replacement to prevent internal engine block scale.
Reliable Mechanical Instrumentation: Paired natively with Yanmar's analog C or D type mechanical control dashboards. These include essential warning buzzers, key starters, tachometers, and critical sensors for water temperature and engine oil pressure.
