KEY FEATURES
60-Degree V4 Block Design: This configuration makes the engine much smoother, quieter, and physically narrower than the older 90-degree crossflow V4 models. It also features loop-charged induction for better fuel efficiency.
Ocean Runner Durability Pack: Tailored specifically for saltwater use, the Ocean Runner series includes extensive sacrificial anodes, heavy-duty stainless steel components in critical areas, and multi-layer corrosion-resistant paint.
SystemCheck Gauge Compatibility: Equipped with an onboard diagnostic warning system that alerts the driver via helm lights or buzzers for No Oil, Low Oil, Engine Overheating, and Check Engine (fuel restriction).
FasTrak Power Trim and Tilt: Provides a fast, fluid tilt range up to 75 degrees and a full-throttle trim range up to 21 degrees, letting boaters easily adjust the ride profile on the fly in choppy offshore waters.
Optical Ignition System (OIS): Uses an infrared optical sensor to track timing precisely, preventing the mechanical wear and erratic idling common in older points-based or basic electronic ignitions.
High Torque Power-to-Weight: Weighing only around 320 lbs, this two-stroke snaps out of the hole with instant low-end punch that easily beats heavier modern four-stroke outboards in acceleration.
