KEY FEATURES
E-TEC Direct Injection Technology: Delivers fuel directly into the cylinder under high pressure. This offers instantaneous throttle response, exceptional fuel economy, and lower emissions than traditional 2-stroke outboards.
No Dealer-Scheduled Maintenance: Engineered with an "Easy to Own" layout. This engine does not require any dealer-scheduled maintenance for the first three years or 300 hours of normal recreational use.
Battery-Free Starting: The integrated E-Start electronics system is not entirely dependent on a strong battery charge to generate an ignition spark. This makes manual emergency startups simple.
Automated Winterization / Storage Mode: Features a built-in automated self-fogging configuration. You can activate this via the throttle lever to prime the interior engine components for long-term winter storage in under four minutes.
Advanced Oil Management: Utilizes a targeted lubrication system that distributes minimal amounts of oil exactly where it is needed. This results in ultra-low oil consumption and prevents smoking.
Heavy-Duty Components: Built to last by sharing high-durability internal components (such as rugged pistons and connecting rods) with Evinrude's larger commercial grade engines.
