The Yamaha F350 V8 30” shaft lower unit is a heavy-duty gearcase designed for the 5.3-liter (and newer 4.3-liter V8/V6 platform variants) 350-horsepower four-stroke outboard.

KEY FEATURES
Ultra-Tough Gearcase: Beefed up with large, high-strength helical gears and heavy-duty bearings built to handle massive low-end torque and high horsepower output.
Shift Dampening System (SDS): Features rubber hub integration to absorb clunks and vibration during shifting into forward, neutral, or reverse.
Thrust Enhancing Reverse Exhaust (TERE): Keeps exhaust bubbles above the anti-ventilation plate and away from the prop below 2500 RPM in reverse, giving cleaner water bite and superior docking control.
Corrosion Protection: Part of Yamaha's multi-phase anti-corrosion system, featuring specialized marine-grade aluminum alloys, sacrificial anodes positioned directly on the lower unit, and specialized paint coatings.
Intermediate Drive Shaft & Shift Rod Options: Available in full 30” complete lower assemblies or late-stage customized (LSC) configurations.
